Welcome
Hi, and welcome to the blog for Katy Page Designs. I am,
unsurprisingly, Katy Page, and over the past year I’ve been getting my fledging
design business off the ground. I thought a few of you might like to see what
goes on behind the scenes at KPD, so on this blog I’ll be sharing my thoughts
around some of the designs, I’ll also be sharing makes that aren’t for sale,
and you’ll get to see sneak peeks of some of my private commissions.
Let’s get some introductions going before we go any further:
About me: I’m in my late twenties, and mum to a bundle of terror, poly-amorous (in a closed triad), bi-sexual, Christian, leftie feminist. I studied maths at university, but have always had a passion for design in all it’s forms. My hobbies include live action roleplay, costume making, sewing, crochet and photography. I live in the southwest of England, a couple of hours from where I grew up with my husband (Mr P), girlfriend (Goth Princess) and the tiniest dictator. Tiny one is often known as the Littlest Princess, as she has a wide array of princess dresses and is rarely seen wearing anything else.

About KPD: Honestly, KPD has one driving principal, and
that’s that everyone deserves to feel a little bit special now and again. When
you’re two you get to wear a princess dress whenever you feel like it and nobody
judges you – but when you’re pushing 30, you tend to get funny looks – so I
channel my inner princess through sparkly accessories and trinkets. There’s a
real reason that KPD’s strapline says EVERYONE deserves to feel like a princess
– princess-hood and sparkles come with no gender attached, if you want to feel
beautiful, you go right ahead and feel beautiful.
What are these links I see for ‘Tilly’s Little Treasures’…
TLT is a sideline of KPD which is kink/bdsm themed and therefore for over
eighteens only. Don’t go and visit if you’re easily offended.
Woah? What’s made-by-Ruth? These are designs sold through
the KPD label, but designed and created by another very talented designer. They
are more mature and classy than our usual designs (fewer sparkles, more
shimmer?).
Anything else I need to know about you? I have a glitter
tattoo kit and I’m not afraid to use it!
